All gloves are sized in ounces (oz) rather than hand sizes, with the weight controlling padding density, hand load and impact protection.
Fit tip: Pick by activity first, bodyweight second. Lighter gloves (10oz) suit bag and pad work for speed; 14-16oz is the sparring standard at most UK gyms. If your gym specifies a minimum sparring weight, follow that over any bodyweight guideline.
