Roll Supreme BJJ gi sizing combines height and bodyweight. The base A1–A5 sizes cover average build; the L (long) and H (heavy) variants exist because gi sizing breaks when you scale a torso, jacket length, and trouser length off a single number. Use the table to find the row where both your height and weight fit — if they fall in different rows, prioritise height and use the L or H variant of that size.

Fit tip: the cotton ripstop trousers shrink 3-5% on the first hot wash. If you sit at the top of a height/weight bracket, size up to allow for shrinkage. If you sit mid-range, your stated size will fit straight after the first wash without needing to size up.

How to choose the right A-size variant

• Standard A1 - A5: if your height and weight both fall in the same base row, pick that size. This is the most common case.
• L variant (A1L, A2L, A3L): pick the L if you are taller than the standard row for your weight. The trousers are cut 2-3 inches longer and the jacket sleeves extend to match.
• H variant (A2H, A3H): pick the H if you are heavier than the standard row for your height — typically a stockier build or grappler with significant muscle mass. The jacket is cut wider through the chest and waist with the same length as the base size.
• Womens F-cut: shorter torso, tapered waist, narrower shoulders versus the A-series. Use the F sizing if you want a competition-cut womens gi; use A0-A1 if you prefer a unisex fit.
